Everything we create is handmade in small batches and contains sustainably and ethically sourced high-quality ingredients. Every organic, natural and botanic ingredient we use – oil, butter, essential oil, extract or wax – has been derived from nature and is selected for its therapeutic benefits. We only use natural ingredients that have had the least amount of processing and do not contain harmful chemicals, solvents, toxins or synthetic preservatives.
PRESERVATIVES
Where necessary, we use natural, broad spectrum preservatives consisting of organic compounds in order to prevent microbial growth & spoiling, thereby ensuring the safety of the products.
VARIATIONS IN PRODUCTS
It is important to note that since our products are handcrafted in small batches, variations in colour, scent, texture, viscosity and consistency do occur. This is because using naturally based ingredients causes products to vary slightly from batch to batch. For example, the deeper the orange colour of our Rosehip oil we use in a formulation, the more yellow coloured a product may be. Previous batches may have been produced with a whiter (less-yellow) colour if the Rosehip our suppliers sent us had a paler orange colour. These variations do not negatively affect the beneficial properties of the products.
